Privacy policy
Onward Padel is run by Kye Benedict Liddle, trading as Onward Padel. This page says what we hold about you, why we hold it, and how to make it go away. Questions to hello@onwardpadel.co.uk, we answer them ourselves.
What we hold
When you enter a night or create a profile in the Onward app we ask for your name, a scoreboard name, your mobile number, your email, your playing level, and optionally your Instagram handle and a profile photo. If you use the level import, the screenshot you upload is read once to find your level and is not stored. If you turn notifications on, we hold the technical subscription your phone gives us, which contains no personal details.
What we never hold
Card details. Payments are taken by Stripe on their own secure pages; we see that you paid and which night it was for, never your card. Passwords are stored only in a scrambled form that cannot be reversed, so nobody at Onward can read yours.
Why we hold it
To run the nights you book: your name on the list, the scoreboard, contacting you if a night changes. To message you about your bookings and future nights, and you can say stop to any message and we leave you alone. Photos and clips from the nights only appear on our socials if you ticked the box that says so, and you can change your mind at any time by emailing us.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the service needs to work: keeping you signed in and remembering an invite code. There are no advertising or tracking cookies on this site or in the app.
Who touches the data
The services that run Onward: Stripe processes payments, Resend delivers our emails, and our database and hosting run on Neon and Vercel. Each holds only what its job needs and none of them may use your data for anything else. We never sell or rent your details to anyone.
How long we keep it
Your profile lives until you delete it. Records of bookings and payments are kept for six years because tax law says so, but once your profile is gone those records no longer point at you.
Your rights
You can see what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Deleting is built in: open your profile in the app and choose Delete my profile, and it takes effect immediately. For anything else, email hello@onwardpadel.co.uk. If you think we have handled your data badly you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, though we would rather you told us first so we can fix it.
